HTC 8X the windows phone 8 powered smartphone will soon be available in India, probably within next few days. The 8X can be pre-ordered from Flipkart for Rs. 35,032.

The HTC 8X is a single SIM phone powered by a 1.5 GHz dual core processor running on the Windows phone 8 (WP8) OS. It houses a 4.3 inch super LCD 2 screen with Gorilla Glass 2 protection and supporting a resolution of 1280×720 pixels.

8X comes with 1GB RAM and internal storage of 16GB. And just like the Google LG Nexus 4 this handset does not come with built in microSD slot. The handset weighs 130 grams with a 10.12 mm thickness.

The camera is of an 8 MP resolution with LED flash and supports 1080p video recording at 30fps. There is a front camera too with 2.1 megapixel resolution. Additional features are 3G, GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.1, 3.5mm jack, GPRS, EDGE and NFC.

The price tag of around Rs. 35K seems too high, possibly the Nexus 4 will be much cheaper than this model. No doubt users will prefer the Nexus 4 over the HTC 8X.
