TP-Link launched a compact and easy to carry range extender, it’s called the TP-Link TL-WA820RE. This USB range extender is powered by USB and its priced in India is Rs. 1,135. It is listed and now available on Amazon.
Airtel has launched V-Fiber services in India, for now it is only available in Chennai and will soon be rolled out in Delhi & NCR and Bangalore and then gradually expanding to over 87 cities. Airtel also becomes the first service provider to launch V-Fiber in India.
The Reliance Jio Preview that started off with LYF smartphone and few more brands has now been extended to Sansui, Videocon and Sony smartphones. In fact at many Reliance Digital / Xpress Mini stores you can get the SIM with offer for any smartphone with 4G support.
With Reliance offering free Jio SIMs and free 4G usage for 90 days – though they have still not revealed the tariff plans, to compete with it, Airtel launched Mega Save packed for its pre-paid customers. There are two options to choose from.
Reliance initially gave the Jio Preview offer with LYF devices and then extended the offer on selected Samsung and LG devices. Some more brands joined later on – Asus and Panasonic and as of now Micromax, YU, TCL and Alcatel have joined the bandwagon.
Reliance has extended it’s Jio Preview offer on all Samsung and LG smartphones. Users of Samsung and LG handset with 4G VoLTE support can now available Jio Preview with 90 days free unlimited data.
Airtel announced a new scheme for Samsung Galaxy J series users, they can now enjoy 10GB Airtel 4G data for price of 1GB i.e. for Rs. 250. This scheme will be applicable for most (not all) Samsung Galaxy J Series devices.
Though there is no official confirmation from Reliance or Xiaomi about the Jio Preview offer, there is some unconfirmed news about Jio Preview offers for Redmi Note 3 users. Reliance is already offering the Preview on selected Samsung devices.
