Xiaomi could soon launch the Redmi and the Redmi Note in India this month

Xiaomi might most likely launch the Redmi and the Redmi Note in India within few days. They have a new post on their official Facebook account that says “Bundle of Surprises with Mi” and the image clearly look like the Redmi devices.

Xiaomi may launch these Redmi devices on July 15th this month. Though there is no official confirmation about this, but something is brewing.

Well a lot of interesting things happening in the past few days. It all started with Xiaomi launching the Mi3 for 14,999 and today we saw the WickedLeak Wammy Neo Youth an octa core powered handset for under Rs. 9,000.

Redmi Note is a 5.5 inch Phablet with 720p resolution. It is octa core 1.7GHz MT6592 with 8GB storage and 1GB RAM. It runs Xiaomi MiUi with Jelly Bean 4.3. Key features are 13MP rear AF camera, 5MP front camera, 3G, Wi-Fi, GPS and Bluetooth. Battery is 3200 mAh.

The Redmi 1S is quad core (qualcomm snapdragon) running 4.3 with Xiamoi MiUi. Screen is 4.7 inches with HD resolution. There is 1GB RAM, 16GB storage and micro SD card support. Key features are 8MP rear AF camera, 1.6MP front camera, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS. Battery is 2000 mAh.

Would be interesting to know the price.
