Xiaomi goes official, launched the Mi3 in India for a very tempting price of Rs. 14,999. Interested? Well you will have to wait until July 15 when it will be made available (pre-registration). From the price factor the Xiaomi Mi3 is surely going to rock.

So the word is out it is indeed the Xiaomi Mi3 handset that was the first to be launched in India. There is another product the Mi Power Bank that has also been launched, the price however is not yet disclosed.

Both the Mi3 and the Mi Power bank have been listed on their official mi.com/in website. The Mi3 sports a 5 inch screen with 1080p resolution, it’s an IPS retina screen that runs Android 4.3 with MIUI ver 5.0.

There is 2GB RAM and 16GB storage. Also included is 13MP rear camera with dual LED flash and 2MP on the front. Both cameras can shoot FHD videos. The Mi3 houses qualcomm snapdragon quad core 800 8274AB processor with Adreno 330 GPU. The CPU is clocked at 2.3GHz.

Key features are 3G, 2G, Wi-Fi, GPS and Bluetooth 4.0. There is NFC too. The Mi3 comes loaded with good number of sensors – accelerometer, barometer, magnetic, gyro, light and proximity. Battery is 3050 mAh Li-ion that should be more than sufficient. It is a single SIM handset without external card support.
