Sony has announced the Xperia C3, they call it the ProSelfie smartphone. Sony also claims that the C3 is the best Selfie phone in the world. This handset is powered by qualcomm snapdragon quad core processor (1.2GHz) and will hit the stores in August 2014.

Selfie being the new trend, Sony Mobiles have created this unique handset with that in mind. The C3 front camera is Wide Angle with a 5MP resolution. It will help capture more, selfies today are not just limited to a single person.

Most of the features that are enabled for the rear camera are now incorporated for the front too. There is auto mode, HDR, smile hot and easy sharing. There is LED flash too for low light selfies. What’s more the front camera can shoot 720p video too – you can make your selfie video too.

Sony Xperia C3 weight with battery is 150 grams and is 7.6mm thick. It runs Android 4.4.x KitKat out of the box over a 5.5 inch screen with 1280 x 720 pixels resolution. There is 8MP rear AF camera and front 5MP special camera. There is 1GB RAM, 8GB storage and 32GB external card support.

The 2500 mAh battery gives talk-time of up to 24 hours and you can play videos for up to 10 hours continuously. The Xperia C3 (with single / dual SIM option) will hit the stores next month the pricing details have not yet been revealed.
