Ringing Bells Pvt Ltd. is a new company established in 2015 that has now launched the Smart 101 smartphone with a 5 inch screen running Lollipop loaded with 1GB RAM and with 4G LTE support. This handset is priced at ₹2,999.
Ringing Bells Smart 101 is powered by a quad core processor (chipset unknown) clocked at 1.3GHz. This dual SIM handset sports a 5 inch IPS screen supporting 960x 480 pixels resolution, on their site they have mentioned it as qHD but it is not 960 x 540 pixels, instead mentioned as 960 x 480.
Smart 101 is 8mm thick and weight with battery is 125 grams. Android Lollipop 5.1 runs the show with 1GB RAM, 8GB ROM (internal storage space) and 32GB external micro SD card support. The handset is also packed with a 3.2MP secondary camera and an 8MP primary camera with LED flash support. Rear camera can shoot FHD videos.
There are 3 sensors accelerometer, light and proximity. Key features are 4G LTE (2100, 1800, 2600, 800), 3G, 2G, WiFi, GPS, FM radio and Bluetooth 4. A2800 mAh battery powers up this handset with estimated talk time of up to 10 hours on 3G networks and 8 hours on 4G networks.

I have booked through Co site for Smart 101 after paying 2999/- on 12/02/16 and got confirmation message/email. On 24/02/16 Co informed through email that delivery details will be send by 26/02/16. However on 26/02/15 following message I received:
““Many Thanks for your continued support. We have instructed PayUmoney to refund all the money received from the customers of Smart 101. For future transactions we have announced Cash on Delivery. The phones will now be delivered through COD.”
Though I have not requested for refund of my money to Ringing Bells. I have sent mail but no reply. Now I have to check for refund.

I do believe it’s not as it looks, if you look closely you will find that , the pic contains both captives touch buttons as well as on screen buttons. which is almost impossible for a newbie.

1.It doesn’t not contain any screen protectors. It’s just normal glass.
2. Definitely it’s using mediatek processor as there are no 1.3ghz snapdragon quadcore processor. It will be using either Mediatek 6582 or Mediatek 6732.
