Xiaomi will be launching a new handset on 23th April 2015 in New Delhi, most likely it could be the Xiaomi Mi 4i that got listed up on Geek-bench website revealing almost all of the specs. The Mi 4i will be a trimmed down version of the Xiaomi Mi4 and I believe it will be priced at under Rs. 10,000.

The leaked info was shared by MyDrivers.com site. As per the report the Xiaomi Mi 4i will be running MIUI 6 based on android 5.0.2. It will be powered by qualcomm snapdragon 615 64 bit octa core processor clocked at 1.7GHz coupled with Adreno 405 GPU. It is the same chipset that powers the Yu Yureka handset.

Mi 4i will probably sport a 5 inch screen with full HD resolution. Most of the benchmark apps fail to detect the actual screen size – the screen size of 5 inches may not be accurate. The handset will also come loaded with 13MP camera packed on the rear and a 5MP camera on the front.

There will be 2GB RAM and probably 8/16 GB storage. The chipset supports dual SIM with 4G. Battery capacity is not known.

Xiaomi Mi 4i spotted

This is still a rumor nothing official about it, yet, but if it indeed is the Mi 4i with a good price tag, competing with Yureka / Lenovo A7000 – it could mean bad news for Indian consumers as they will have to go through the flash sale system again (getting a Mi 4i will not be that easy).
