Wammy Magnus review

Connectivity and Entertainment
There is no built in 3G, Bluetooth or GPS. You can however connect external (supported) 3G Dongle. There is Wi-Fi, micro USB and 3.5mm jack. The sound is loud and there are dual speakers on the rear side. The tab can easily play 1080p videos.

Camera
There is 2MP rear camera which is no good. The front camera is in fact better even though it’s of a VGA quality.

Gaming
I did test few games angry birds, temple run etc which did work well.  I tried the NOVA 3 it does work. However it takes a lot of time about 4 to 5 minutes for loading. But it works. NOVA 3 game is smooth, you can check the video demo at the end of the article. With Android 4.2 upgrade probably the abnormal loading time may be fixed.

Battery
The battery is of 8000mAh capacity as mentioned on the Wickedleak site and I think it can easily last for over 5 and a half hours of continuous usage.

Others
The Wickedleak site mentions that the tablet can play 4K videos (4096×2160). However there is issue with the 4K videos they do not play smoothly with audio sync-out. Wickedleak have confirmed the issue which according to them is OS related. They also mentioned that the Android 4.2 upgrade will fix this issue.

Wammy Magnus review
The tab is a bit pricy at 15,499 but comes powered packed with 2GB RAM and Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS (upgradable to 4.2). The tab is good for users who want to use it for reading, browsing and for entertainment. Battery life is good. The Magnus can play a lot of games but don’t expect every game to work.
