  1. I prefer to use no smart tv with my MI TV Box. This makes me attach this box to any tv with hdmi. I got it from Walmart for 70 dollars.

  5. 4k model is well priced and has ips panel but 32 and 40 inch model do not have ips panel which is a let down.
I don’t care much about smart Tv since it’s running outdated KitKat…I mean in few years apps may not support KitKat…which makes smart tv feature useless.

  6. I had purchased Thomson tv and Thomson music player in year 2000. They are still working but in music player only fm stereo is working but the sound quality is very good and it doesn’t deteriorate at full volume.

  10. SPPL (Super Plastronics) IS AN INDIAN CONTRACT MANUFACTURER WHO IS SELLING KODAK TV IN INDIA. THEY ARE ALSO SUPLYING TV AND MONITORS FOR INTEX T SERIES ETC….

    1. Now they are selling Thomson TVs under brand licensing…. Brand is Thomson…but built by SPPL

    2. It’s the same thing Xiaomi does in India, outsourcing production to Foxconn and hipad for mobile phone manufacturing.

  13. i wonder why these new TV’s from new companies come up when MI has its TV’s line up here in india….still there are many ignorant ppl or rather fools both from buyers side and makers side.

    1. New company???? Are you serious??? How can you be so ignorant? This company was formed in 18th century and have been in consumer electronics since decades.

      1. once it goes off picture with no sign of products it has to be considered new in par and contrast to the market scenario just like Nokias plight at present…nobody gives a f***k to nokia now when mi mobiles are around…hope u got my point wat i meant to say

    2. You idiot, mi tvs are not easily available at all with their fake flash sales and almost zero availability, and to make matters worse, they dont deliver to major cities also, forget about smaller cities. Internet pe comment dalne milta hai toh kuch bhi daalte ho tum log.

      1. Very well said. A comment should be there no matter how garbage it is. People who comment should at least care to use Google search on the same Internet connection they use for commenting!

    3. MI Tv too has few issues, remote is not user friendly when it comes to use by senior citizens, youtube not available, etc.

    4. Mi TV’s are not good in India but mobiles are good, they are cheating Indians. You can find in global market mi TV’s having QLED or Dled, but in India they have given ELED. after few years of watching mi TV’s you will find you have to change your TV because of dark shade.

    5. And there are many fools who keep their work aside for flash sales, tries for months after month and buy so called ,much hyped pdt. whenever it has become outdated .
By the way mi has 4k tv only in 55″size. If somebody’s hall size is smaller why the hell he should go because of brand only. Again Thomson Tv is around 10k cheaper .Those having tight budget is one of the best option.

  14. Gogi sir, I desperately needs 43″ 4K TV.Was planning to buy Vu TV.But this one is much cheaper in 4K catagory. Should I go for this or Vu is bettet one.
I know u have not reviewed the same. But can advice being expert. I don’t understand much in technicalities . Pl.guide sothat I can buy on’ Akshay Tritiya’.

    1. The price of this TV looks great, its 4K but running Android 4.4.4 but considering the price you can go thread, and would suggest you use google chromecast or other such HDMI dongle to get a completely different Smart TV experience.
