Samsung Mobiles today launched the Samsung Galaxy S9 and the S9+ in India. This handset was already showcased at the MWC 2018 and now it has been officially launched in India. Samsung Galaxy S9 price in India is Rs. 57,900 and the Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus price in India is Rs. 64,900.

The S9 / S9 Plus looks like the Samsung Galaxy S8 / S8+ handset but the unique feature added on the S9 / S9 Plus is the revolutionary camera that adapts like the human eye. The camera incorporates dual aperture technology that helps the lens to shift to f/2.4 in outdoor good light conditions and opens to f/1.5 indoor / in low light conditions.

With f/1.5 aperture you will be able to capture some really stunning low light shots. Super slow motion videos can also be shot using this handset in 960 fps. There is also a feature that converts your selfie into a Emoji.

Samsung Galaxy S9 Price Rs. 57,900

This dual SIM handset weighs around 163 grams and features a 5.8 inch sAMOLED screen with Quad HD+ resolution. Inside the hood it is powered by Samsung Exynos 9 9810 octa core processor with Mali G72MP18 GPU.

There is 4GB RAM, 64/256 GB storage options and micro SD support up to 400GB. Talking about sensors there is Accelerometer, Barometer, Gyro, magnetic, hall, proximity, light and pressure sensor.  For security there is Finger Print, Iris Scanner and Face detection.

Other features are dual band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5, USB Type C, 4G, VoLTE and GPS. Coming to the camera on the rear there is Super Speed Dual Pixel 12MP OIS camera with f/1.5 ~ f/2.4 aperture. Front camera is 8MP with f/1.7 aperture.

Samsung Galaxy S9 houses a 3000 mAh battery and will be available in Purple, Blue and Black color options.

Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus Price Rs. 64,900

The difference between S9 Plus and S9 is as follows. This S9 Plus weight is 189 grams, features a 6.2 inch sAMOLED screen with Quad HD+ resolution. On the rear there is 12MP OIS F1.5 ~ f/2.4 camera plus a secondary camera of 12MP f/2.4 so dual cameras on the Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus. Front camera is 8MP AF f/1.7 aperture.

S9 Plus comes with 6GB RAM and 64GB / 256GB storage options, plus 400GB micro SD card support. A 3500 mAh battery powers this handset. Rest of the features are the same.
