Samsung unveiled the Galaxy Note8 in New York. This handset in the Galaxy Note series features a 6.3 inch Quad HD+ Infinity screen as seen on the S8 series. What makes the Note8 different is the dual cameras on the back and the S-Pen.

After the failure of the Samsung Galaxy Note7, Samsung has to get this right and I am sure they have taken extra precautions, QC checks when launching this device the Samsung Galaxy Note8. The handset will be powered by Snapdragon 835 octa core with Adreno 540 GPU or with Samsung Exynos 9 8895 octa core with Mali G71 GPU.

Screen is 6.3 inches, a super AMOLED Infinity display with 18.5:9 aspect ratio and with 2960 x 1440 pixels resolution. Android Nougat runs the show with 6GB RAM and optional 64GB/128GB/256GB of internal storage. There is micro SD support too max up to 256GB.

Samsung Galaxy Note8 launched

Samsung Galaxy Note8 comes with Hybrid dual SIM slots. On the rear there is a 12MP dual Pixel camera with f/1.7 aperture and a 12MP telephoto lens camera with a f/2.4 aperture. Rear camera support 2x optical zoom and up to 10x digital zoom.

Front camera is AF, comes with f/1.7 aperture. Note8 is dual and water resistant (IP68) certified. This smartphone comes with host of sensors including Heart Rate, Iris and finger print. This Note8 too comes with dedicated Bixby button.

Like all Galaxy Note series the Galaxy Note8 comes with S-Pen that is even more enhanced, improved compared with its predecessors. Common features like 4G, VoLTE, Wi-Fi, BT, NFC, GPS are supported. Weight is 195 grams and thickness is 8.6 mm.

Samsung Galaxy Note8 houses a 3300 mAh fast charging battery, it will come in Deep Sea Blue, Maple Gold, Midnight Black and Orchid Grey color options, pre-orders will begin from Thursday in selected markets, and price in US is $930 approx Rs. 59,500.

Samsung is offering huge discounts for Galaxy Note7 customers.

Samsung Galaxy Note8 will be launched in India soon it will be with Exynos chipset.
