  1. When Gogi reviewed the Indian S8 with Exynos processor, even some games that play perfectly on Redmi Note 4 were dropping frames. And this time even the battery is inadequate.

The worthwhile question here is how to get a US version that is unlocked to work for India and Samsung will also honor the warranty despite this irregularity. Anyone who knows that please reply to me

The Indian version is good if you win it in a contest but definitely not worth paying for

  2. All Samsung Galaxy Note phones have been outstanding right from Note 2 onwards. This too portends to carry on the Galaxy Note tradition for excellence. Ah..if only price gets more reasonable, mebbe…after 4-5 months,.

  3. I was waiting for such a phone(With CDMA).
But battery would be a very big disappointment.
If the reviews are good, will try to get it from abroad.
    Till then, fingers crossed.

  4. Samsung goes head to head with Iphones guyz,
    Its on a diff level

Dont compare with oneplus /redmi phones…

Its not budget phone..Its premium phone both in quality & price.

  5. first Samsung phone with dual camera and OIS. This is the main diffrence over S8+ along with S pen feature. Seems to have better camera then S8…otherwise it’s pretty much same as S8+. Hope battery gives good backup without exploding.

  6. Dear Criticizers,

Before criticizing and comparing with oneplus 5 / xiaomi try to use atleast one samsung premium segment phone like s7, s8 or note8 you will find the difference between oneplus, mi5 and samsung premium segment phones.

    1. Haaaa ☺️☺️☺️☺️ you are telling like Samsung have in side gold, and mi, one plus have metal.. …

      1. Dude the premium phones from Samsung, Apple, HTC, LG would always cost much more than your OP, Mi and Huawei no matter how much comparable the systems are.

        1. Huawei also manufacture premium phones… 😉 Honor is their low budget segment. They just don’t launch their premium phones in india.

      2. I have a samsung note 2 for past 4 years now..that too with original battery intact. i just cant see any other fone replacing it with all the features! Meanwhile 3 mis belonging to the family have come n died in our house .samsung is def reliable than aforesaid other brands. Just wish note 8 was cheaper…also shd have seperate sd card slot like all samsungs have.

    2. Good Suggestion to spend double/triple amount only to experience premium branded device. Agreed it is foolish to compare a Xiaomi or One Plus One with a premium brand like Samsung but the pricing factor is ridiculous now. Apple on the other hand does justify to an extent but then again, too restrictive. Other than Samsung, hardly anyone is able to compete or market their devices well but the price premium with Samsung nowadays has no sense whatsoever.

      1. bro you are not alone buyer….there are billions of rich buyers who even dont know about xiaomi or oneplus…they use only iphones or galaxy s or note series or other premium brands…

        1. Nishant, compare the sales figures from Xiaomi/Oneplus and Samsung. You will get to know the difference. All the features and build quality offered by samsung is the same in xiaomi and oneplus. Smart people choose smartphones from Xiaomi and Oneplus as they have a smart price tag

          I totally agree with dilmeet.

Nishant bro, 60,000 spend karna wo bhi bus brand ke naam se, koi akalmandi nahi hai. Instead we can spend max 30k for the smartphone and keep 30k yourself for your future needs.

Kyunki zarurat padne par tumhe samsung koi financial help nahi karega, use to bus customers ke mehnat ka paisa lootna hai….

I mean to make a wise decision before spending 60,000 rupees even if you are a rich kid.

  7. Again the fingerprint sensor position is bad and battery is just 3300 mAh battery which is disappointing. Samsung is giving 3300 mAh or 3600 mAh battery in mid range phones like J7 and J7 Pro. Pretty much, this is the same S8 Plus with the addition of Dual Cameras and S Pen.. Nothing new.

    1. There is a reason behind everything.Having less battery capacity is an extra advantage. If it explodes the damage would be less as compare to the battery with higher capacity.

    1. it is not that you can buy note 7. he means to say is that those who bought note 7 are will/might get huge discounts on purchasing note8

    1. SD 835 is only for CDMA markets like US, China and Japan. Rest of the world Exynos. Both have comparable performance. Check AnandTech for more details, they did comparison last month of both SOCs.

  8. Specs are perfect.
I hope it has the global network support(incl. CDMA).
    Battery could have been more.

  9. Water resistant , S pen capability ,Screen 6.3 inches, a super AMOLED Infinity display , 2x optical zoom and also Samsung Brand name makes note 8 ,more pricy than One plus 5 .

  10. One of the best in premium segment. So many new features. When it will be avlbl in India?

  11. Galaxy s8 twins are better buys instead. Phone is quite heavy at 193 gms packs lesser battery and offers just a shade larger display. It is thicker also. What you get is dual camera which is useful only for bokeh, s pen and extra ram. Price is also going to be at least 10 to 15k more than s8 twins.
