Harry Potter fans across college campuses in North India are in for something different this month. realme is taking a special Harry Potter themed bus across Delhi, Chandigarh, Jalandhar, Jaipur and Noida.
The campaign is built around the upcoming realme 16 Pro 5G Harry Potter Edition, created in partnership with Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products.
Instead of limiting the launch to online teasers and social media posts, realme is taking the experience directly to students, creators and young smartphone buyers.
Visitors will be able to check out the phone in person, take part in Harry Potter themed activities and even win branded merchandise.

What Is the realme 16 Pro 5G Harry Potter Edition Bus Activation?
Think of it as a travelling realme experience centre with a Harry Potter twist.
The specially designed bus will visit college campuses and other youth-focused locations, giving people a chance to experience the new realme 16 Pro 5G Harry Potter Edition before or around its official launch.

The tour begins on 21 September 2026 at IPU, Dwarka Campus in Delhi.
realme plans to host an on-ground event there for students, creators and other visitors before the bus continues to four more cities.
At each stop, visitors will be able to see the Hogwarts inspired design of the phone, join interactive activities and participate in contests offering Harry Potter themed prizes.
Giveaways include the realme 16 Pro 5G Harry Potter Edition, realme earbuds and other branded merchandise.
City Wise Activation Schedule
The bus will stay for different periods in each city. Some stops last just one day, while others continue for more than a week.
| City | Activation Dates |
|---|---|
| Delhi | 21 September to 29 September |
| Chandigarh | 4 October to 7 October |
| Jalandhar | 9 October |
| Jaipur | 12 October to 14 October |
| Noida | 16 October to 23 October |
Specific campus locations and other consumer stops are expected to be announced closer to the respective dates.
Anyone interested in attending should keep an eye on realme’s official event updates.
realme 16 Pro 5G Harry Potter Edition Launch Date and Price in India
The realme 16 Pro 5G Harry Potter Edition is scheduled to launch in India on 21 September 2026, which is also the first day of the Delhi bus campaign.
realme has not yet announced the official India price of this special edition.
The regular realme 16 Pro 5G currently sells for roughly ₹37,000 to ₹47,000 depending on the RAM and storage configuration.
Special edition smartphones usually cost slightly more because of customised design, packaging and bundled collectibles.
realme followed a similar approach with its earlier Game of Thrones Limited Edition smartphone.
realme 16 Pro 5G Harry Potter Edition Specifications
The Harry Potter Edition is expected to use the same core hardware as the standard realme 16 Pro 5G.
Most of the changes are focused on the exterior design, packaging and Harry Potter themed software elements.
| Specification | Details |
|---|---|
| Display | 6.78-inch AMOLED, 144Hz refresh rate |
| Processor | MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Max |
| RAM and Storage | Up to 12GB RAM with 256GB storage |
| Rear Camera | 200MP main camera with OIS + 8MP ultra-wide |
| Front Camera | 50MP |
| Battery | 7000mAh with 80W fast charging |
The special edition is reported to use a colour similar to the Master Gold variant.
Harry Potter styling is expected to include a Hogwarts crest, house-inspired design elements and co-branded realme and Harry Potter logos on both the phone and retail packaging.
How the Campus Experience and Giveaways Work
The campaign is more than just a phone display.
Visitors will be able to explore Harry Potter themed installations inside and around the bus, take photos with Wizarding World inspired backgrounds and participate in quizzes, games and challenges.
Winners at different stops could take home a realme 16 Pro 5G Harry Potter Edition, realme earbuds or other branded merchandise.
realme is clearly trying to make the launch feel more like a pop culture event rather than a regular smartphone demo.
The Harry Potter collaboration also includes the realme Buds T500 Pro Harry Potter Edition, which comes with matching Wizarding World themed styling.
Both products are expected to become available around the same India launch period.
Where to Check Pricing for the realme 16 Pro 5G Range

Why This Collaboration Matters for realme
This is not the first time realme has mixed smartphones with entertainment franchises.
The company launched a Game of Thrones Limited Edition realme 15 Pro last year, and the Harry Potter collaboration takes the idea further with a multi-city bus campaign.
Special editions like this also help brands stand out in the crowded mid-range smartphone market.
Most phones in this segment already offer large batteries, fast charging, high refresh rate displays and capable cameras. A popular franchise gives buyers something different to talk about beyond specifications.
The campus tour also makes sense for realme because students and younger buyers are an important audience for the brand.
Instead of expecting people to discover the phone only through online advertisements, the bus campaign puts the device directly in front of potential buyers.
The realme 16 Pro 5G Harry Potter Edition officially launches on 21 September 2026, so the final design, pricing, packaging and availability should become clearer then.
Until that happens, the travelling Harry Potter themed bus gives fans an early opportunity to experience realme’s latest special edition smartphone in person.
