Got a Redmi Note 4, then most likely you might have got an update notification – the MIUI Android 7.0. This is a stable version of Nougat that has been rolled out in a phased manner, if you haven’t got the update notification wait and check back after few days.

Redmi Note 4 was launched in India with a price tag staring from Rs. 9,999. It was running MIUI 8 based on Marshmallow and now it will get Android 7.0 update. The update size is over 1GB (around 1.3GB to be exact).

This update adds new features like separate App locks for dual apps, options to hid notification content on lock screen, lot of new features have been incorporated like slide to browse wallpapers, pause ongoing backups, a redesigned music app, screen recorder and many more.
