Mi A1 Android 8.0 Oreo update rolling out

Mi A1 users watch out for the Oreo update. The Xiaomi Mi A1 Oreo update was scheduled for December end and here it is, the new OS was available for beta testers and now the stable version has started rolling out.

In case you have a Mi A1 handset just check out for the update notification, if you have got one then its probably the Oreo update. Now Mi A1 is using stock Android and the interface is pretty normal / basic with not much of a customization option.

With Android Oreo 8.0 running on Mi A1, the UI might look a little different. It is already officially confirmed that the Mi A1 devices will get Oreo update in fact the update has already been rolled out in phased manner.

It is however important that the last update on your Xiaomi Mi A1 should be the Version 7.12.19. If you are using older version then there will be this 7.12.19 update that you will need to install and after this you will get the Android O update.

Android Oreo will bring in new features like PIP picture in picture, adaptive icons, you can snooze individual notifications and more.
