LetsTrack Personal Mega Tracking Device review

The app called LetsTrack is free you can download that from Google Play, and you can also track other person who is also using the same app if they allowed you to track them – this will be mobile to mobile tracking. But if you want dedicated type then you need to select the tracking devices. There are different type of tracking devices on the LetsTrack website and apart from the device you need to select a plan that will cost you around Rs. 1200 per year.

Performance

LetsTrack Personal Mega Tracking Device is not that small, it comes with 5000 mAh battery. Build and finishing is not that great but then this device is just for tracking and in most cases will be hidden / inside the bag, really does not matter.

When I tested the device I saw a drop of 10% battery each day, so in all you can get up to 10 days of battery life even more in some cases, on a full charge, thanks to the 5000 mAh battery.  You also know the speed, distance, you get exact details when and where the particular device / subject was at a particular time.

Verdict

A very good option for those in transportation business, they can track their trucks, cars, other vehicles in real time, know exactly where the cargo is, how much time it will take to arrive at the destination and at the same time also save on  petrol / diesel cause once the device is installed the driver will never be able to take you for a ride.

  1. If u still have this gogi, why don’t u check the accuracy of the data side by side with a smartphone…

  3. For that price why not buy a good mobile like redmi 4 with 4000mah battery, poor a sim and enable GPS in our and keep it in bag and use it for tracking the bag or truck. When not in use as a tracker it can be used as mobile!
For a single function of only tracking, it seems to costly!

    1. Indeed a right question, I think the gps accuracy wont be same plus the technical data related to positioning would be much better and realistic then mobile.

    2. There is a difference between mobile phone and GPS tracker. GPS tracker are dedicated device for tracking, their accuracy are miles ahead of Mobile Phone. There is a fairly big market for these devices.

      1. GPS accuracy depends on how much satellites connected.

All devices which have GPS, gives same accuracy unless buggy chip.

There are certain pros in using this as great battery life, minimal user interface ( driver can’t say that i don’t know how to use, or can’t edit anything), GPS always ON (in mobile, drivers can switch off GSP).

        1. Accuracy of GPS is standard for all public usage.

Military grade devices has very high accuracy.

        2. U forgot, there is also receiver antennae…it will depend upon a lot on the antenna design
