Lenovo S939 MT6592 Octa Core phablet coming soon

Lenovo S939 with a 6 inch screen and powered by MTK6592 octa core chipset from MediaTek is already available in some countries. The handset is listed on Pandawill website for $289.99. We might soon see this handset in the Indian stores for under Rs. 22K.

The S939 is a quad band handset with Octa Core processing power. It houses the MTK6592 octa core chipset (cortex A7) clocked at 1.7GHz with Mali 450 GPU. The handset runs on Android 4.2 with 1GB RAM and 8GB in built storage. Micro SD card is supported.

This is a dual SIM handset with dual standby mode. The IPS screen is 6 inches supporting resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels with 16M colors.

An 8MP AF camera with LED flash is placed on the rear and there is a front facing camera too of 1.6MP resolution. Lenovo S939 is 8.7mm thick and weight is about 170 grams. Key features are 3G, 2G, Wi-Fi (b/g/n), GPS and Bluetooth. There is 3000 mAh battery.

As mentioned the handset is already available in the International markets and will soon hit the stores in India. It could do well if the handset is priced at under Rs. 20K.
