Lava Mobiles has released the Iris 460 handset that is powered by a dual core processor, what makes the 460 unique is the leather back panel (artificial leather). The handset is all about the looks – the elegance of leather for a price of Rs. 7,199. It will be available in retail stores and online for approx Rs. 6,700.

The Lava Iris 460 houses dual SIM slots (Micro SIM’s) with 3G support. It runs android 4.4.2 and is powered by 1.3 GHz dual core processor (the chipset is not known). Screen is of 4.5 inches supporting 854 x 480 pixels resolution with 16M colours. The handset is 8.7 mm thick and comes packed with 1 GB on-board RAM and 8 GB internal storage (ROM). There is micro SD support too (you can use max 32GB cards).

Of the 8 GB storage, 4GB is allocated for apps and 2GB as phone storage. There is an auto focus camera on the rear and a fixed focus camera on the front. Rear camera is 5MP resolution that can shoot 720p videos and front camera is VGA resolution.
