Reliance Jio since its official launch, has created history. According to the company Jio got over 16 million new subscribers within 30 days of its official launch. This achievement is no doubt extra ordinary.

The real test will be after 31st December 2016, as to how many of these subscribers convert to the Reliance Jio paid plans, not to forget the Jio 4G plans are also quite attractive and competitive. Getting a Jio SIM was a big headache and the process was talking a lot of time.
But thanks to eKYC the process simplified and users were walking out of reliance digital store or Xpress mini with the SIM and getting their SIM activated within few minutes. 4G smartphone is required, for voice calls you need VoLTE. There is an option in case your handset supports 4G and VoLTE is missing.
Initially there was preview offer (unlimited) but after the official launch the company started giving Welcome offer that had 4GB cap per day on data usage.
