Huawei Pura X View Price in India, Specs : 7000mAh Battery in a 6.68mm Body

Imagine getting the wide screen experience of a foldable phone without the hinge, crease or foldable-level price. That is basically what the Huawei Pura X View is trying to offer. This is a regular smartphone with an unusually wide display, and Huawei has managed to fit a huge 7000mAh battery inside a body that is just 6.68mm thick.

Huawei first revealed the phone on August 20, 2026, while sales in China started on September 9. The phone is not officially launched in India yet, but import listings have already started appearing.

Here is everything you need to know about the Huawei Pura X View price in India, specifications, camera, battery, display and availability.

Is the Huawei Pura X View a Foldable Phone?

No. The Huawei Pura X View is not a foldable phone.

It has a normal slab-style design, but the display uses a very unusual 16:9.5 aspect ratio. This makes the phone noticeably wider compared to the tall and narrow smartphones most people use today.

The confusion probably comes from its name. Huawei already has the foldable Pura X, and the Pura X View uses similar wide-screen proportions.

Some online listings also incorrectly describe the Pura X View as a foldable phone.

Huawei says its 6.39-inch display offers around 114.27 cm² of usable screen area, giving users more viewing space than many traditional phones with larger 6.9-inch displays.

Huawei Pura X View Price in India

Huawei has not officially launched the phone in India yet. So, for now, the Huawei Pura X View price in India mainly refers to imported units.

One Indian import listing shows the 12GB RAM + 256GB storage model in Leaping Shadow Red at ₹1,19,990, discounted from ₹1,69,990.

That is significantly higher than its China pricing.

Imported phones usually cost more because the final price can include shipping charges, customs duties and the seller’s margin.

Some online price trackers suggest that the phone could cost around ₹89,999 if Huawei officially launches it in India. However, this is only an estimate and not an official price.

Import prices can also change frequently, so always check the latest price before placing an order.

Huawei Pura X View Launch Date and Availability

Huawei first teased the Pura X View on August 20, 2026.

The company later revealed the complete specifications and prices on September 7, with sales beginning in China on September 9 at 10:08 AM local time.

There is currently no confirmed global or Indian launch.

This means buyers in India will have to depend on imported units unless Huawei officially brings the phone here.

In China, the Pura X View is available in four colours:

• Shadow Red
• Linen Grey
• Zero White
• Phantom Black

Storage options include 256GB, 512GB and 1TB, while all variants come with 12GB RAM.

Huawei Pura X View Specifications

Here is a quick look at the main specifications.

Two specifications immediately grab attention.

The phone comes with a massive 200MP main camera, while the 7000mAh battery is unusually large for such a slim flagship smartphone.

Huawei Pura X View Display: Why the 16:9.5 Screen Is Different

The biggest attraction of the Pura X View is probably its display.

Most modern phones use tall screens with an aspect ratio close to 20:9. These displays are good for scrolling through social media and websites but can feel narrow while watching videos or using two apps together.

The Pura X View takes a different approach.

Its 16:9.5 aspect ratio makes the display much wider. Videos can have smaller black bars, while split-screen apps get more horizontal space.

The phone uses a 6.39-inch OLED panel with a resolution of 2232 x 1320 pixels and a refresh rate of up to 120Hz.

A 120Hz refresh rate means the screen can refresh up to 120 times every second, making scrolling, gaming and animations look smoother.

Huawei has also kept the bezels extremely slim at around 1.05mm on all four sides.

Peak brightness is rated at an impressive 6,500 nits, although this figure applies when only around 1% of the display is illuminated.

The screen also supports 2,160Hz PWM dimming.

PWM is the method OLED screens commonly use to control brightness by flickering the display very quickly. A higher PWM frequency can feel more comfortable for people who are sensitive to OLED flickering.

Huawei’s Kunlun Glass protects the display.

Huawei Pura X View Camera: 200MP Main Camera and 3.7x Periscope Zoom

Huawei has packed a serious camera setup into the Pura X View.

The primary camera uses a 200MP sensor with an f/1.8 aperture and OIS.

OIS stands for Optical Image Stabilisation. It physically stabilises the camera system to reduce blur when taking photos in low light or recording video while moving.

There is also a 50MP periscope telephoto camera offering around 3.7x optical zoom.

A periscope camera bends light sideways inside the phone, allowing manufacturers to fit a longer zoom system without making the camera module extremely thick.

Digital zoom goes up to 100x, although image quality will naturally drop at extreme zoom levels.

The third rear camera is an 8MP ultra-wide camera with autofocus and macro support. It can be useful for landscapes, group photos and close-up shots.

For selfies and video calls, Huawei has included a 50MP front camera capable of recording 4K video.

Another interesting feature is Huawei’s second-generation Red Maple colour sensor.

This separate sensor measures colour information from the scene and helps the main cameras reproduce skin tones, reds and other colours more accurately, especially under difficult or mixed lighting.

Huawei Pura X View Battery and Charging

The 7000mAh battery is one of the biggest highlights of the Pura X View.

Battery capacity is measured in milliampere-hours or mAh, and 7000mAh is considerably larger than the batteries found in many premium smartphones.

What makes it more impressive is that Huawei has managed to fit this battery into a phone weighing 201 grams and measuring just 6.68mm thick.

The phone supports 66W wired fast charging along with 50W wireless charging.

Reverse charging is supported as well, so the phone can be used to charge smaller devices such as earbuds or a smartwatch.

However, the highest charging speeds may require compatible Huawei chargers.

If you need an additional charger or cable, you can check a 66W USB-C fast charger and USB-C cable.

HarmonyOS 7 and Google Apps on the Pura X View

The Huawei Pura X View runs HarmonyOS 7, Huawei’s own operating system.

It is also the first Huawei smartphone to launch with this version of HarmonyOS.

There is one important thing Indian buyers need to understand before importing the phone.

The China-market version does not officially come with Google Mobile Services, commonly known as GMS.

Google Mobile Services includes important Google services and apps such as the Play Store, Gmail, Maps and several background services required by many Android applications.

Huawei’s AppGallery offers a large number of apps, but some applications may still require workarounds.

Before spending over ₹1 lakh on an imported phone, check whether the apps you use every day work properly.

This is especially important for UPI apps, banking apps, streaming services and other apps that depend on Google services.

Some features such as AI call translation and eye-tracking page controls may also depend on the region and supported language.

Huawei Pura X View 5G, eSIM and SIM Support in India

The Pura X View supports 5G, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0 and NFC.

It comes with two nano SIM slots and also supports eSIM.

An eSIM is a digital SIM built directly into the phone. Instead of inserting a physical SIM card, users can activate a mobile connection digitally through a supported telecom operator.

Before importing the phone, confirm its supported 5G bands with the seller.

Indian 5G networks mainly use bands such as n78 and n28, and regional versions of smartphones can sometimes support different network bands.

eSIM compatibility will also depend on your Indian telecom operator.

Huawei Pura X View vs Foldable Phones Available in India

Some buyers may like the wide display concept but prefer a device with official India warranty and proper Google app support.

Foldable smartphones are currently the closest alternatives because their wider inner screens offer a similar experience.

If you are planning to import the phone, it may also be worth checking accessories in advance.

Final Thoughts on the Huawei Pura X View

The Huawei Pura X View is certainly different from the usual smartphone.

Its wide 6.39-inch OLED display, 200MP main camera, 3.7x periscope zoom, slim 6.68mm body and huge 7000mAh battery make the hardware very interesting.

But importing it into India comes with some important compromises.

The current import price is high, Google Mobile Services are not officially available, and there is no confirmed official India warranty.

Anyone planning to buy the phone should first check whether important apps, 5G bands and eSIM features work properly in India.

If Huawei officially launches the Pura X View here at a more reasonable price, this unusual wide-screen phone could become a much more interesting option.
