What Is boAt Crest AI?
boAt Crest AI brings an AI assistant directly to the earbuds. Instead of opening an app or typing something on your phone, you can simply speak and hear the response through the earbuds.
The system uses Google Gemini to understand questions and continue conversations naturally.

The earbuds use 11mm dynamic drivers along with boAt Signature Sound.
They also support Dolby Audio, which is designed to create a wider and more spacious audio experience while watching movies or listening to music.
Multipoint Connectivity and Fast Pair
Multipoint Connectivity allows the earbuds to stay connected to two devices at the same time.
For example, you could keep them connected to both a smartphone and laptop and switch between the two when required.
Google Fast Pair makes pairing with compatible Android phones quicker. The phone can automatically detect the earbuds and start pairing with a tap.
AI-ENx for Calls
The Airdopes Prime 800D comes with four microphones and AI-ENx technology.
It is designed to focus on your voice while reducing unwanted background sounds such as traffic or people talking nearby.
45 Hours Battery and ASAP Charge
boAt claims up to 45 hours of total playback when the charging case is included.
The earbuds also support ASAP Charge. A quick 10-minute charge can provide up to four hours of playback.

Settings including EQ, touch controls and firmware updates can be managed through the boAt Hearables app.

Does boAt Airdopes Prime 800D Have Dolby Atmos or Spatial Audio?
The Airdopes Prime 800D supports Dolby Audio.
However, boAt’s launch information and product listings do not mention Dolby Atmos support.
Spatial audio is also not listed for the Prime 800D.
If spatial audio is important to you, the Airdopes Prime 701 ANC listing mentions Real Spatial Audio. That model also supports Crest AI.
Does boAt Crest AI Work With iPhone?
At the moment, Crest AI is available only for Android.
boAt’s Crest AI page says the AI experience currently does not support iOS. This means iPhone users will not be able to use the Crest AI features on these earbuds for now.
What Is the Crest AI Pack?
boAt also lists a separate Crest AI Pack priced at ₹399.
It is a 12-month plan offering 100,000 AI units.
The Airdopes Prime 800D, Airdopes Prime 701 ANC and Nirvana Ion ANC are shown by boAt as pre-enabled Crest AI devices.
According to the terms, AI usage depends on both the plan validity and available usage credits.
Unused credits expire, and the AI pack works only with the device on which it has been activated.

Crest AI is not limited to the Prime 800D.
It is also available with the boAt Airdopes Prime 701 ANC and boAt Nirvana Ion ANC.
The other two models also offer ANC, or Active Noise Cancellation. ANC uses microphones to detect surrounding sounds and reduce them electronically.
The Prime 701 ANC uses Hybrid ANC, which works with microphones positioned both inside and outside the earbuds. This helps the system deal with a wider range of surrounding noise.

The choice between the Airdopes Prime 701 ANC and Nirvana Ion ANC mainly comes down to stronger noise cancellation versus longer battery life.
The Prime 701 ANC offers 46dB hybrid ANC along with up to 50 hours of battery life.
The Nirvana Ion ANC offers up to 32dB ANC, but battery life goes much higher at up to 120 hours.
Intelligent Ears: What boAt Plans Next
boAt CEO Gaurav Nayyar says intelligence should not remain limited to rooms, desks, pockets or screens. The company’s idea is to make AI something users can carry with them through devices such as earbuds.
boAt says more Crest AI use cases are also being developed.
The company describes this launch as another step in its work with Google Cloud, with more Crest AI-powered products expected across future devices.
