Apple iPhone 5C and iPhone 5S expected to be launched today

This will be the first time that Apple Inc will launch two of its devices the Apple iPhone 5C and the Apple iPhone 5S together. The iPhone 5C will be a cheaper version and the iPhone 5S an upgraded version of the already existing Apple iPhone 5.

The ‘C’ in the iPhone 5C could probably mean ‘Color’ – Available in various colors (5 shades) or ‘Cheap’ or both. 5C could come with a 4 inch screen with retina display (resolution: 1136×640 pixels) and with the same dual core CPU and GPU that powers the iPhone 5. It will be available in 5 color options.

IPhone 5C could run on the iOS 7 OS with 1GB RAM and optional 8,16,32 and 64 GB internal storage. This handset will also come with 8MP rear camera with BSI sensor and 1.9MP front camera. 5C  a cheaper iPhone could be priced between 25K to 30K.

Apple iPhone 5S
It’s an upgraded version of iPhone 5 and definitely will not fall in the budget category. Though the specs are still in the rumor phase the handset will come with upgraded camera of 13MP as compared to 8MP on the iPhone 5. And probably as per rumors the handset could also come with fingerprint reader.

The handsets are expected to be unveiled today, stay tuned for confirmed specifications and the price.
