As per reports the latest Android OS version 6.0 also called the Android Marshmallow is ready for general users. This latest upgrade will be rolled out in October starting with Nexus devices – from 5th October.
Google will roll out Android 6.0 a.k.a. Marshmallow from 5th October onwards. Here are some of the devices that might get the update first – Nexus series (LG) 5, (Motorola) 6, (Asus) 7 (2013),(HTC) 9. However Samsung Nexus 10, Asus Nexus 7 2012 and LG Nexus 4 will not get updates as per source.
It could take few more months after Android 6.0 is officially rolled out, for other manufactures to pass on this update on selected handsets. We might also see some new handsets being launched running Android 6.0 maybe by end of December 2015 or early 2016.
The Android M 6.0 is loaded with a lot of enhancements, security features, USB Type C port support, new app drawer, better memory management and integrated finger print scanner support – to name a few.
Android 6.0 is now available for Asus zenfone 2 laser. I have updated
Is Samsung galaxy J5 in the list?

Yup.
Is Motorola G3 in this list?
No but we could wish to get updated
Google won’t update that, they only update devices running stock Android. What Moto give on their devices is ALMOST stock Android but with a few enhancements of their own. But once Google roll out Android M, Moto will take that, apply their enhancements and then they(Moto) will roll out the enhanced Android M update to their phones. Likely about one or two months later. But Moto G3 will certainly get Android M and even Android N next year.
