Google today announced the LG Nexus 5X that will run Android 6.0 out of the box and will be powered by Snapdragon 808 64Bit hexa core processor. LG Nexus 5X is priced at $379 with 16GB storage and $429 with 32GB storage. The price listed on Google store in INR is ₹31,900.

LG Nexus 5X is a single SIM handset running Android Marshmallow 6.0 with 2GB RAM and optional 16GB or 32GB of internal storage. This handset sports a 5.2 inch screen with CGG3 protection and supporting 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution.

Weight is 136 grams with battery and thickness is 7.9mm. Nexus 5X houses the snapdragon 808 64 bit hexa core processor clocked at 1.8GHz coupled with Adreno 418 GPU. When it comes to the camera there is a 12.3MP AF (f/2.0) camera with dual tone LED flash and a front camera of 5MP resolution. This handset is using the USB Type – C port and finger print scanner on the rear (touch ID based).

Key features are 4G, 3G, 2G, Bluetooth 4.1 and GPS. LG Nexus 5X gets power from a 2700 mAh battery.

Google LG Nexus 5X shipping will begin in October, it can be pre-booked from selected countries for now (UK, USA, Japan and Ireland).

  1. Except for the faster OS updates and fingerprint scanner, Mi 4c pretty similar to this eventhough it is priced at half of what Google is demanding in India.


    Does google think that users will be satisfied with just 16GB or 32GB (out of which half will be already taken by OS)
