Xiaomi today launched Mi Music and Mi Video internet services in India. These are apps for playing music / watching videos and they offer integrated streaming service. Mi Music and Mi Video are first internet services that the company has brought to India.

You will be able to download these apps from Google Play store. The Mi Music now comes with Hungama integrated, it now offers 10 million freemium tracks across 13 Indic language choice. The music app also comes with dynamic lyrics that works great with Karaoke.

Mi Video offers content from various content providers, for now it is powered by Hungama Play, SonyLiv and Voot currently, with more partners coming onboard soon. 80% of content is free, and there are more than 500,000 hours of content.

With Mi Music you can listen to your favourite tune for free, but you will not be able to download, to be able to download music you need to pay a small fee of Rs. 899 per year.

Speaking on the occasion, Neeraj Roy, Managing Director & CEO, Hungama Digital Media Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. said, “We are delighted to launch Hungama Music on Mi Music. We are committed to delivering the best of content with unlimited playlists to the highly engaged Mi Fan community and with this launch we take our partnership with Xiaomi to the next level. In the coming months we will bring more exciting features including gamification and continue to build on the rich user experience.”

    1. Exactly same here, Amazon prime subscription is much better and after Amazon music came it’s best now. I bought the Prime subscription in July last month in RS.500. But now it’s Rs.1000 and I will buy it again. In short, it’s the Best.
