  3. I successfully purchased Mi Mix 2 in dhanteras sale. Initially it did go out of stock but when I logged in again at 12.15pm, it was back in stock. So i doubt manu kumar jain statement. Even at 36k, it’s worth buying according to me. Camera is not bad either (I am casual shooter anyways)

  7. Explain please! If we simplify 18:9 ratio, it will be 2:1. Then why it is always stated as 18:9.

    1. Normally, mobiles comes with 16:9 aspect ration. If we are stating as 18:9, then people easily understand the difference, the same difference cannot caught by normal users mentioning by 2:1.

      Hope got it!

  8. No one is interested in mix 2 . Everyone is waiting for OnePlus 5T. Even nokia 8 isnt sold faster than mi. It means its marketing strategy.

  11. 100 percent fake sale like mi a1.

No body will buy at 36k.

Better devices are in market with brand value

    1. How do you know nobody bought it, I can see you hate mi, yes it is fake sale only if Sanjay buys then it is not take other wise fake. Grow up man other wise one day you will become chief minister of Delhi, always unnessarly complaining…

      1. Mi fan boy.. Think why no mi 6 in india.. Why mi 5 32gb called flagship.. Lol

All are big flop.. Think before reply. I m not hater just statistic

Anyways world is full of fools

          1. @Ramesh Kumar
Chief Minister of India?? Hope u meant Prime Minister of India πŸ˜‰

            @Sanjay
U didn’t give any stats buddy, u just made some statements like fake sale, big flop, blah blah blah..Anybody can do that..In that respect, I agree with Mr.Ramesh Kumar.. You certainly seems to make a good politician and may become a minister one day since you have some real talent at making statements. And that’s the only thing politicians make in this country-statements!

        1. We see many like this,, they just can’t even think on there own,, is really 1lakh plus ppl how spend 36k in 5 minutes seriously dude … Sanjay is talking about that,, it’s not hating mi,, grow up and try to understand,, there is nothing then 18:9 and miui compared to oneplus 5,,,
No offence just think twice before you defend something or someone

          1. @Varun
My comment is simply in reply to Sanjay’s comments like it was a fake sale and nobody will buy it. I certainly don’t believe mi mix 2 or for that matter any phone priced above Rs.30k will be able to sell out 1 lac units in 5 minutes. But saying that nobody is interested in the phone is nothing short of absurd. Now you might say we should not take it literally and that when he mentioned ‘nobody would be interested’, he actually meant nobody as 1 lac. Yes, yes we can interpret a comment in a hell lot of ways. But I choose to take the meaning that was apparent to me and replied on that basis. Hope you understand. And as regards my growing up, I have already grown up buddy. Can’t grow up anymore, can only grow old from now onwards..Sad fact:(

          2. And regarding the claim by Mr. Manu Kumar Jain, he might be actually right. I have not been following up mi mix 2 flash sale, so I am not sure, but I believe there must be some registration process in order to enter the flash sale. If that’s the case, the 1 lakh interest just means 1 lakh registration. No way 1 lakh registration gets translated into 1 lakh unit sales. So the whole debate on the 1 lakh sales is pointless as nobody really said 1 lakh units were sold. Now you would say why then Xiaomi came up with the registration figures instead of disclosing the actual sale figures. My answer is that they are doing business and would project the figures which help them in marketing their product better. As long as they don’t give us incorrect sale figures(in Sanjay’s words, fake sales), it is perfectly fine. As you say lets hope people are smart enough to think of their own so that they can distinguish between ‘1 lakh interests received’ and ‘1 lakh unit sales’.

    2. Calm down Xiaomi fanboys. Stop acting like Xiaomi is a legendary brand. Your note 4 series is contender to be the next Note 7,

  12. Lakh people showed interest but were even 10 handsets made available to buy? I was interested in buying but losing interest now as in another few days better devices like mate 10, oppo f5, R11s, V30 etc may become available.

  15. OMG What..
Out of stock for a phone with 36k Rs in 3 Mins!!!!!
you got to be kidding me..or all people in India got Rich all of a Sudden???

Not sure if this is True or “Creating Demand- Marketing Strategy”

Meanwhile i ve been thinking for like 4 months for buying a phone around 15k..

  16. I dont think many people were interested to buy this phone @36k. There might be very less stock (may be few peaces) just to show-off and see “Out of Stock” tag within few minutes. If Xiaomi bring 50000 stock on open sale, it will not sold in few minutes. First time, I have doubt on their flash sale.

  17. Missed the Mi Mix 2 this time, then watch out for the next sale on 24th October. And in early November it will be made available across all offline partners.

  18. Mi Mix 2 sold out in less than 3 minutes

  19. the phone is out of stock on flipkart. I appreciate xiaomi for creating value for money products; however, they use manipulative marketing practices to grab attention. Its hard to believe that a phone with 36000 price tag was sold out in 5-10 minutes. This could mean two things i.e 1. People were waiting eagerly for this phone 2. Xiaomi brought very limited stocks.

Furthermore, It also seems that xiaomi is not at all interested in launching its more expensive products in india. They just want to dump the indian ecommerce sits with sub 15000 products. They have created a very good product in mix 2. Despite being such a gadget freak, I never saw anyone using mi5. Mi4 was also unsuccessful in india. Rather than teasing indian consumers with sparse stocks.

    1. Maybe the stock was only a few thousands. Only die hard xiaomi fanboys would get this phone.
