Vivo Mobiles have launched the V9 in India. This handset comes with dual cameras setup on the back and unique thing is the 19:9 aspect ratio screen with Notch Style display. So how is this Vivo V9 handset, to know more read the review.

Notch Style is catching up and we will see a lot more new handsets that will be launched with this (Notch) style. What makes the Vivo V9 a really cool handset is the screen, dual cameras on the rear, perfect selfie camera that can shoot in bokeh mode and decent battery life.

The hardware is also quite powerful Snapdragon 626, well known. Camera quality is excellent. This handset is priced at Rs. 22,990. Vivo sells in offline market and considering their pricing strategy in offline markets the Vivo V9 is decently price.

If you buy mobile phones from online markets then this will seem too costly for you, but for now this is the cheapest Notch style smartphone available in India.

Vivo V9 Camera Review

Rear Camera : 16MP + 5MP, AF, F/2.0, LED flash
Front Camera : 24MP
Video Recording : 4K

Camera quality is excellent, the dual cameras on the back does a really good job, the bokeh effects are pretty good and so is the edge detection. Front camera is 24MP, single camera but you can shoot bokeh style selfies and that too is really impressive.

There is AR sticker mode with a lot of stickers that will adjust on a face in real time and then you can click the shutter. Low light / Night shots in Auto mode is not at all impressive but if you switch to manual mode then the output is a lot better.

Check the samples below. This handset can shoot 4K videos, there is no stabilization.

Camera Rating : 4.3 out of 5

  2. I bought this phone and later found that this doesn’t support encryption. I. e Mobile device management, I am unable to configure corporate google email with MDM policy, VIVO customer support agreed that this phone doesn’t support Mobile device policy. What a waste of 22K and vivo released this phone without this feature of utmost importance.

  4. Oppo F7 is a lot better than this shit at same price. Pastic body for 23k, really? No screen protection, sd626 bulshit. I’m pretty sure gogi didn’t check out Oppo F7(vivo sister company) before coming to conclusion.
    I’m waiting for Zenfone 5 (2018).

  6. atleast a gorilla glass protection should be there, only the screen breakage is the concern.

        1. Rn5p camera rating 4.4, vivo v9 is 4.3 guess who needs to check his eyes first. Although its not a big margin, but still

    1. @Sudeep , if u want an value for money phone then go for Pro. it is a beast .
but if u want a phone like apple at low price then go buy Vivo .(design , looks , UI ) everything is like apple.

      1. Yes, Redmi Note 5 pro is better in almost all department. Camera is at part or slightly better in V9 in some area, only Notch display is plus /extra in V9…. Also there is huge price differenc (9k) between both of them… So overall RN 5 pro is clear winner here…..
