  1. This TCL 560 device boasts many features and nowadays is available in a much cheaper price than the original INR 7,999 price tag. Some users informed us that the sound is not good, especially with earphones and it is 100 percent true. I have used the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 SoC on another Chinese made mobile device and the sound was just awesome, although the phone was cheap to buy. I am just shocked by the ultra low volume levels via 3.5 mm headphone/earphone jack. I mean even with 100 percent volume, you can barely listen to a song at public places. I have tried on with Sennheiser CX275s, CX175 and also with Creative EP 630 earphones, all of them being one of the best sellers across many online portals. I am just shocked with the meager volume of a device whose screen size is claimed at 5.5 inched HD with 267 ppi density, in reality though I found the actual screen to be 5.45 inches with a 269 ppi density, The sound doesn’t match with the size of the phone and is the biggest let down for any music lover or people who watches movies while traveling. Some users are saying it is likely due to poor quality 3.5 mm socket, I guess another reason could be that TCL tweaked settings to restrict sound via earphones to accommodate more back up from the 2500 mAh non-removable battery. TCL should release a firmware or a software update patch to enhance the sound, else there is no point in purchasing this phone. Other features claimed are good for a regular average user like 2GB RAM,16GB ROM,VoLTE etc. Build quality is not great but good enough and it doesn’t look cheap. Front camera with flash works fine, although none of the cameras are that good and cannot be expected from a budget mobile having CMOS sensor. Overall a good package, except sound, which needs a fix by TCL only as no playstore sound enhancement app helped raise the volume level or the bass/treble ratio. I purchased from flipkart.com, unfortunately they don’t allow returns if you are not satisfied with the product, so decide accordingly.

  2. Tcl/Alcatel is very old company, they make good phone’s. Don’t underestimate this one.

      1. Sajid, the phone isn’t bad and is available now at INR 5,999, which is good as there are hardly any other phone with same features at this price. The main issue however is the poor sound from the 3.5 mm audio socket. With a 5.45 inch HD screen, the sound is just horrible and only TCL can fix this with a firmware or software update, as no playstore app could help boosting the sound.

    1. Don’t buy Micromax after sale service is very bad, service centres are fully crowded like machli bazar customer care is pathetic they don’t know any info about the products and problems totally hopeless i am waiting 3 weeks for my battery and now i am planning to buy the local battery.. don’t go for micromax.

  3. Snapdragon SD210
When will be the Flash sale?
    What a joke in 2016.

I think eye-scan unlock is a useless feature might not work properly in a budget phone.
Every time you have to bring phone close to your eyes.
They should have put more powerful SoC instead of this feature.

    1. no even you can bring your eye to the phone…..just kidding bro
      what a crap

    1. That’s 5 inch this is 5.5 inch ..that is android lollipop. TCL is Marshmallow ..ANDRPID 6

  4. Dear Gogi bhai,

are you going to review this handset?
are TCL ( and ALCATEL / SWIPE rebranded) handsets worth buying ?
consider saying about basic functions of these handsets such as signal reception & call quality.

    1. For under 8k. Buy a coolpad note 3 lite or Lenovo vibe k5. Or spend 2k more and get a RN3. This phone is garbage.

      1. Hi TCL is globally No 5 smart phone company in 2016 with 5.5 inch with Android marshmallow.
