Sailing on a 1 GHz processor with a 4 inch capacitive touchscreen and running the WP 7.5 (Mango) OS the Samsung Omnia M is here. This handset was recently launched in Europe and probably will hit the Indian market in coming months.

The main highlight of Omnia M is the Super AMOLED display screen, this is what you find on almost high-end Samsung handsets. The pixel resolution is amazing at 800 by 480.  There is a 5 MP camera that can shoot HD videos in 720p resolution and a front facing camera for self photography and for video chats.

The handset weighs just under 120 grams (119 grams) with thickness of 10.5 mm. The Samsung Omnia M supports 3G, comes with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.1, micro USB port and built in GPS. The will also be a built in radio and the default media player, that comes loaded with the WP 7.5 OS, should support many commonly used media formats.

These windows powered handsets come pre-loaded with Microsoft Office (mobile version). Add to it users will also get free access to Skydive cloud storage.

A 1500 mAh Li-ion battery powers this handset. The Standby time and talktime is currently unknown. The specifications looks good but the addition of a 5 MP resolution camera along with a secondary camera suggests that this handset will come for a price of under Rs. 16,000.
