This is a single SIM GSM smartphone with 3.0 inch Capacitive TFT LCD screen supporting resolution of 240 by 320 pixels with 256K colours (133 ppi). The 832 MHz processor powers this phone which is good enough for smoother and faster processing along with 180 MB of internal memory. MicroSD card is supported for additional storage up to 32GB.

The Samsung Galaxy Y S5360 runs on the Gingerbread OS (Android 2.3.5) with TouchWiz user interface. The handset is of dimension 58 x 104 x 11.5 mm with less than 100 grams weight (97.5 grams).

This Samsung Galaxy smartphone supports multi touch input method and comes with touch sensitive controls. This is a 3G phone (HSDPA, 7.2 Mbps) with EDGE / GPRS supported too. There is a built in Wi-Fi, USB (microUSB 2.0) and Bluetooth 3.0 with HS / ASDP. The Samsung Galaxy Y S5360  comes with built in GPS with A-GPS that works well with Google Maps (You will need 3G / 2G internet connection to download the maps on the fly).

This Samsung phone can play various audio and video formats plus you can tune in to your favourite FM station using the built in FM radio. There is a 3.5mm jack for connecting external headphones or you can use the built in loudspeaker.

So many good points well now the disappointing part. The Samsung Galaxy Y S5360 comes with a primary 2 megapixel camera, that’s right. Samsung should at least have given a 3.2 MP camera. You can record videos and there is no secondary camera.

Other features are access to Orkut, YouTube, Facebook, Google Talk, multi touch zoom, Wi-Fi tethering (wherein you can share 3G / 2G internet connection with other devices over Wi-Fi), voice input.

With the 1200 mAh standard li-ion battery this handset can last for 540 hours in standby time and talktime of about 6 hours on 3G networks.

Samsung Galaxy Y S5360 is a cool phone with really good features with gingerbread operating system but the camera is really disappointing but if you look at the price tag, you can afford to ignore it.
