Samsung’s next smartphone is the low cost Galaxy Ace NXT that has already reached the Indian markets and will be sold for a price tag of Rs. 7,399. Though the price sounds good the specs aren’t that convincing.

The Samsung Galaxy Ace NXT supports 14 Indian regional languages. Unfortunately is powered by a single core 1.2GHz processor. TFT screen is 4 inches supporting WVGA (800 x 480p) resolution. The handset supports dual SIM. RAM and storage are not mentioned but I believe it could be a minimum 512MB and 4GB along with micro SD support.

A 3MP camera with LED flash is placed on the rear and there is no front camera. Common sensors are also missing. Probably there might just be an accelerometer sensor. Main features are 3G (21Mbps), 2G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS with GLONASS. The battery is a minimal 1500 mAh capacity.

Price / Specs wise the handset really does not stand among the few handsets like the Moto E, Micromax Unite 2 and the Iris X1. The Asus Zenfone’s are also doing well and are better in specs specially the Zenfone 4 that is the cheapest.

Samsung Galaxy Ace NXT single core for Rs. 7399

I am not sure yet with regards to the OS that has been used on this handset is it Android 4.2/ 4.3 or 4.4. Had it been android 4.4 it would have been mentioned on the box. Interestingly nothing has been mentioned with reference to the OS.

The Samsung Galaxy Ace NXT might have already reached the stores or will soon, it is priced at Rs. 7,399.

Tip: Burman.
