The 3 new Lumix mirrorless cameras namely the Panasonic GX1, Panasonic G5 and Panasonic GH3 have been launched with price range from 34,990 to over 150K. These Lumix cameras are part of G series.

Panasonic Lumix GX1
This is the cheapest of the lot price at Rs. 34,999 (with 1442mm lens). The GX1 mirrorless camera is with 16MP Live MOS sensor and with advance noise reduction system. The camera can record full HD videos. There is built in flash and intelligent auto mode.

Other interesting features are face detection / recognition, subject detection and tracking, motion detection, light and scene detection. The GX1 also comes with 3D shooting capabilities. There is auto focus mode as well as manual focus. The LCD screen with touch panel is 3 inches with 460k dots. Removable battery is 1010mAh capacity. Price Rs. 34, 990 with 1442mm lens.

The G5 mirrorless camera supports 16.05MP resolution and comes with Live MOS sensor and Venus engine for advanced signal processing capabilities. It can record videos in full HD with stereo sound.  The Lumix G5 is ultra compact and sports a 3 inch LCD sreen with 920K dots.

The G5 comes with fastest AF feature that is best for capturing moving subjects. This camera is priced at Rs. 37,990 (1442mm lens) and Rs. 43, 900 (1422 mm + 45150 mm lens). There is built in flash and battery is 1200 mAh capacity.

GH3 with 16.05MP live MOS sensor offers high picture quality with low pass filter. There is built in flash as well as wireless option of multiple flash shooting. Precise and fast Auto Focus.

The built in Wi-Fi can be used to connect with tablet / smartphones (compatible with Android and iOS). The Lumix GH3can capture images in various formats and can save on SD XC/HC and SD cards.

The 3 inch OLED screen with touch control supports 614K dots. Battery is of 1860mAh capacity. The GX1is priced at Rs. 1,54,999 (with 14140 lens).
