Memory and Storage

There is 3GB RAM and 32GB ROM. On the first boot you will get around 22GB free space and 2GB free RAM. OTG is supported.

This smartphone is powered by MediaTek MT6753, 1.3GHz octa core processor (64 Bit) with Mali T720 GPU. Performance is smooth, handset does not heat up with normal / moderate usage but with heavy usage specially gaming the temperature increases, max battery temperature I encountered was 43 degrees when playing games.

  • Quadrant – 2397
  • Antutu – 33851 | 3D score – 5413
  • Nenamark 2 – 55.9fps
  • Internal storage Speed – Read (193MB/s), Write (75MB/s)
  • Multi Touch – 5 Point

The Asphalt 8 game was playable in Medium visual quality mode. It was lagging in High quality mode. Hardware is not that powerful when it comes to gaming, but can play in low graphics mode. Do note – the handset temperature might increase.

Even when playing Modern Combat 5 game there was a mild lag at initial levels.

There is a 16MP camera on the rear (8MP interpolated) and front camera is 5MP. Rear camera can shoot FHD videos. Camera quality is average – check the sample images and video at the end of this review.

I did not find any issues with 4G, WiFi, GPS and Bluetooth. The network signal was also quite stable. Sound is lower than when compared with other handsets. There is finger print sensor on the back that does a decent job, decently fast and accurate.

Oukitel K6000 Pro comes with 6000 mAh battery. Battery life is impressive you can expect 9 to 11 hours of non-stop moderate to heavy usage on single charge.

Oukitel K6000 Pro Battery Performance (time / battery % drop / estimated battery temperature).

  • Running Benchmark app – 11 minutes / 2% / 37 degrees
  • Asphalt 8 + MC5 game play – 22 minutes / 4% / 43 degrees
  • FHD video playback with full brightness (WiFi /4G on) – 34 minutes /5% / 37 degrees.

It took me 1 hour 21 minutes to charge the handset using wall charger from 43% to 100%. The handset can be fully charged from 0% to 100 in about three to three and half hours.

K6000 Pro is good handset, though not really for gaming users. In general hardware is powerful (except gaming), camera is average and battery life is very good.

Rating 3 out of 5.

Oukitel K6000 Pro is priced at less than $147.

  1. Does anybody know how to add new themes to this phone? My installed themes has these complete names o (Clasical) and (Sensation).

  2. Hi Gogi, Can you please mention how did you procure it? I tried few sites from the Oukitel shop page, they all offering only standard free shipping, which I guess is risky in terms of customs.

    1. Yes standard shipping will get custom attention, you can go for DHL or Fedex shipping that will cost you extra money but will be cheaper than the custom mess with standard shipping but you will still need to pay custom. If sites are not offering express shipping then don’t buy. Try checking Aliexpress.

  3. Hi Gogi

Please write a full article on purchasing goods from China or other countries if we can covering recommended websites, shipment method and any other matters to keep in Mind. I know you have two articles on shipment method but a combine article will surely help the readers.

  4. Can we use SD Card as internal storage in every device running Android Marshmallow? Please reply gogi..

    1. No you cannot, Marshmallow by default does not allow, some OS might enable the option after you format the SD card, but in most cases it will not work.

      1. @gogi i believe Marshmallow does allow, i used this feature in android one (spice dream uno) of course we have to format memory card.
