Oppo the 2nd most popular company in China is gearing up to enter the Indian market, officially. To start with they will launch range of products including the Oppo N1 on 30th of this month. Sonam Kapoor and Hrithik Roshan are the official Oppo brand ambassadors in India.
The handsets will be launched on 30th and by first week of February it will be made available in retail stores and probably online. The handset price range will be from Rs. 10,000 to Rs. 40,000. No point in guessing – the Oppo N1 will be the premium handset with rotating camera. Gionee Elife E7 mini is also using the same rotating camera concept but their handset is priced at under Rs. 19,000.
Probably we might also see some Oppo TV ads in February month. The Oppo N1 sports a 5.9 inch screen with FHD resolution. It comes powered by Qualcomm quad core Snapdragon processor clocked at 1.7GHz with Adreno 320 GPU.
N1 runs on Android 4.2 with 2GB RAM and optional 16/32GB storage. This is a single SIM handset and the key attraction is the single 13MP AF camera that can be rotated 180 degrees (front / rear camera). Other feature is the rear touch panel that can be used of scrolling content, taking pictures etc.
The Oppo N1 coming soon – stay tuned.
