Here is the comparison between the Asus Zenfone 3s max and the Nubia N1. I have reviewed both these handsets and the key highlight about both these smartphones is the 5000 mAh battery. So which one is the best one.
Well there are better options available in the markets, but if you have decided to buy a handset with 5000 mAh battery then do check this comparison of Nubia N1 vs Asus Zenfone 3s Max. I have divided it into 3 parts – battery, camera and performance.
Both handsets are powered by 5000 mAh non-removable battery and you will get a very good, impressive battery life. Both the Nubia N1 and the Asus Zenfone 3s max takes almost the same time to charge (under 3 hours) and battery life is also almost same.
When it comes to camera the Nubia N1 quality is much better though I have rated both the handset camera as average – Asus Zenfone 3s Max got a 3 out of 5 and the Nubia N1 got 3.8 out of 5.
So camera is better on Nubia N1.
The hardware is different – Nubia N1 is powered by MediaTek MT6755 64 bit octa core and the Asus Zenfone 3s max is powered by MediaTek MT6750 also a 64 bit octa core. Both handsets are using Mali T860 GPU.
If you check the benchmark scores (Nubia N1 review | Asus Zenfone 3s max review), you will find that the Nubia N1 benchmark scores are higher than 3s max. But in real world performance the N1 lags when playing high end games where as Zenfone 3s max can easily play the same game in high quality mode.
The reason is because of the screen size and resolution. Asus Zenfone 3s max comes with 5.2 inch screen, 2.5D curved glass and supporting 1280 x 720 pixels resolution. The Nubia N1 comes with 5.5 inch screen with 1920 x 1080p resolution.
The 1080p resolution does not really work with MediaTek MT6755, a 720p would have made a difference.
Though Nubia N1 camera is better the difference is minimal. Smartphone with average camera quality is good enough for sharing online / social networks and the picture any way look great on a smaller screen.
Asus Zenfone 3s Max is better option here.
