Nokia today announced their first android based tablet called the Nokia N1. It will hit the stores in Q1 next year in China, priced at approx $250. This tablet will be running on the latest Android 5.0 Lollipop OS.

The Nokia N1 is powered by 2.3GHz Intel ATOM Z3580 64 bit quad core processor with PowerVR G6430 GPU clocked at 533 MHz. N1 comes packed in an single piece aluminum body with a weight of about 318 grams. The tab is 6.9 mm thick and sports a 7.9 inch screen with 2048 x 1536 pixels resolution.

The fully laminated zero air gap display is with corning gorilla glass 3 protection. Android 5.0 / Nokia Z launcher runs out of the box with 2GB RAM and 32GB internal storage. Also included are dual cameras – a 5MP fixed focus camera on the front and 8MP auto focus on the rear. Rear camera can record in Full HD (1080p) resolution.

There is dual stereo speakers, mic, Wi-Fi (a/b/g/n/ac) and Bluetooth 4.0. The N1 comes with a 5300 mAh battery.

Nokia N1 will be made available in 2015 (Q1), no word about when it will hit the Indian stores.
