Motorola recently launched the Motorola Droid Turbo in the US an it is getting a lot of attention. Unfortunately the Droid Turbo will be available only in the US market, but the good news is that the company might rolled out a Global version of the Droid Turbo called the Moto Maxx.

This info is based on an invite that a Portuguese website got. The invitation teaser image exactly resembles the Droid Turbo handset. The Technoblog website have also mentioned that the handset could be called the Moto Maxx – the name has not been officially confirmed yet.

The Maxx if that is what Motorola prefers to call it will be loaded with the same specs as seen on the Droid, in fact it is the same. It will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 quad core processor clocked at 2.7GHz running Android 4.4.4 with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage. This handset sports a 5.2 inch screen with 2560 x 1440 pixels resolution.

Also included is a 2MP front camera and a 21MP rear AF camera with dual LED flash. Additional features are 4G, 3G, 2G, Wi-Fi, GPS and Bluetooth. The handset like many other Motorola handsets will come with water repellent coating. This handset will be announced on 5th November.

Motorola moto Maxx coming soon

Motorola might launch this handset in India too.

    1. I do a lot of video chatting and i do not prefer a better resolution camera at the front, reason being that would mean a lot of internet bandwidth and with slow internet speed a vga camera would perform much better than a megapixel camera.

    2. There are a few notable reasons that a front 2 megapixel camera is sufficient.

Firstly, if the sensor is good enough, then the pixel count doesn’t matter, because it(the 2MP unit) does HD video well, and 4K is a bit far off at about nine megapixels, which does not need to be there on the front camera, tbh (Might be in the next gen).

Secondly, the front glass is less clear than the camera lens glass on the back, which means that until the front of our phones have better glassing solutions, we won’t be getting similar photos even with the same mounts on both sides. (Unless you have a hinged solution, like Oppo and Gionee do – And samsung once did with their X600)

And thirdly, to curb our narcissistic tendencies, and to remind us humans that it’s what around us, that is important, not just ourselves. 😛

  1. Good News For India if so…… Gogi Any guess on the Price ?? with Moto X around 23-24k this could be in 32-35k
