  1. Hi Gogi,

Need you expert opinion and valuable suggestion. I am in the market for a smart phone. I have shortlisted the Lumia 640 and Redmi. Can you suggest which one of these two phones is value for money.

    Thanks in advance,

  2. Dear Gogi Sir,
I am using this Phone (Lumia 640xl) for the last two weeks. Everything is perfect. Not yet still find any big negatives. Battery backup is amazing, up to two days for mixed usage.

I have one doubt about this phone and OS. Am I need to install any antivirus for this phone? If yes suggest any good A.V.

Gogi Sir. Pls help me in this matter.

    Thanks in Advance…

    1. There is no need for an antivirus on your smartphone as long as you are downloading apps from Microsoft store. Antivirus will have an impact on the performance, better avoid it.

  3. using Lumia 640 and its a AMAZING phone.
    Windows RAM 1GB = Android 2GB
Windows quad core = Android octa core

and finally, don’t compare windows and android. they are very different os in all terms (speed, camera etc)

  4. 640XL is a very good phone but bit over priced. Around 13K would have made it a killer phone

13MP camera from Carl Zeiss optics is quite good.

Within few months the price will drop for sure

  5. I don’t think windows OS is comfortable. Why don’t Microsoft concentrate on ANDROID releases. Windows OS is not user friendly.

    1. Androids X and XL are the biggest crap from nokia. I used my friends Nokia XL only for 30 min and started to get headache. Unnecessary modification in android has made nokia X and XL totally useless. Best OS for microsoft is windows. No need to go for android.

      1. Don’t worry Nokia will come back with in April 2016 till then way for good. they will launch Android as already they working on it.

  6. I think these types of craps should directly launched by ISRO….

the crap builders / rebranders should have tie up with ISRO ….so that they can launched and ASAP thrown away out of earth.

    1. yes very true!! import data on zauba clearly shows import price of lumia 640@ Rs 4683 & for lumia 640XL@ Rs 6710…..so you see how much Microsoft is ripping the Indian consumers. they are selling at more then twice the price they manufacture. that’s why xiaomi and lenovo will rule the market.

      1. Apple makes Iphones for some 12000 and sells for 60000

Do you think they are in the business for service?

  7. Keep launching phones @ higher price then no one buy it then drop its price with launching another new phone. Doing same thing for years. Learn something from Xiaomi they Sell phone @ same price till stock ends.
