Microsoft today launched the Lumia 430 an affordable windows powered smartphone for Rs. 5,299. This handset is running Windows Phone 8.1 with Lumia Denim over a 4 inch screen with WVGA resolution. It is powered by a dual core processor.

The Microsoft Lumia 430 weighs about 128 grams and is 10.6mm thick. It comes loaded with 1GB RAM and 8GB of internal storage. The 430 also supports micro SD card of up to 128GB. Users will also get free cloud storage access of up to 30GB.

The Lumia 430 sports a 4 inch LCD transmissive screen with 800 x 480 pixels resolution. It houses the qualcomm snapdragon 200 dual core processor clocked at 1.2GHz. There are 3 sensors accelerometer, light and proximity.

There are dual micro SIM slots with 3G support. The handset also includes a 2MP camera on the rear, it’s a fixed focus camera and there is a VGA camera on the front. Key features are 3G, 2G, Wi-Fi, GPS and Bluetooth.

Lumia 430 gets power from a removable 1500 mAh battery that as per the company gives up to 9 hours of talk time on 3G networks and about 17 hours on 2G networks.
