Does this support 3G and on normal/regular sized SIM cards ? I want a 3G cellphone supporting regular/normal SIM cards which I can remove from my old nokia phone and immediately use. Please advise under 7K such a phone which doesn’t require me to cut my SIM to Micro/Nano, thanks.

And some ppl still think MMX is God even some mobile experts like gogi too

And some idiots still argue for 0.5inches and still thinking 1gb ram is enough for them. If so then those kind of ppl really need smartphones??? No they already got smart brains so just a smallest mobile is enough for them.

What is good and what is bad depends upon individual’s need. This is a very good mobile for people like me, because of following reasons:-

    1. Small screen size:- yes yureka and A6000 are very good handsets, but I don’t find it comfortable to handle big screen size in day to day use. 4.5 is very good size.

    2. Who cares for Octa cores or 2 GB ram if you are not a gamer. I don’t play any game on mobile , so what’s the need , all other applications can easily be run on even a dual core processor. I don’t understand even if the launcher lags for 1 second or other such lags , then also how does it matter on a practicle level. Whats app, Mx player, FB can easily be run even on dual core processor.

    3. Dual front speakers :- Every mobile should come with loud front speakers . what you are watching a video what’s the point if sound is being projected on opposite side. I listen lots of audio books, so this matters for me. I hope the DAC converter will produce good quality sound.

    4. Gorilla glass protection and Lollypop out of the box.

If the camera is good (which can only be known after watching camera sample on Gogi’s review, then its not a bad deal in 7K (I hope the price will reduce further).

The only drawback I can think of is no HD display. They should have provided HD display. Gogi Kindly review it.

Hi! I agree with many of your views. Since i am a music lover, i hope the front spkrs are stereo. If you have bought the device can you tell me how music sounds through quality earphones? Is the bass good? Does the Cirrus Logic / Wolfson hardware make a difference.?
      Thanks

I guess only reason MMX keeps on launching this types is because they are available in store & do get sold by the shopkkeper. Else specs like this with the price doesnt make sense.
Better they increase Yureka flash sale qty.

To be honest I don’t know why people are looking for octacore processor …….they up the mobile unnecessarily and are not yet stable…….and require little bit more work……quad core processor is enough to carry out day to day task and can play games like asphalt and mordern combat easily……..I mean it’s not like one has to solves astronomical equations on mobile?!!?!?………the main thing that I like about Micromax is its low SAR value hereas if you pick up xiomi phones and those Iball and Intex phones they don’t even release there actual SAR values for head and body……….I don’t feel the need of eating unnecessary radiation for extra processing (power which I would never use) along with heating …….

Gogi please do review this phone.

Xiaomi always mentions the SAR value on their phones. Check reviews here as well. Don’t spread wrong info.

Dear Amol, Xiaomi only tells SAR value of head and not the SAR value of body, whereas Intex and lava only show SAR value as less than 1.5w /kg.

Plus xiaomi is also known for sending sensitive geographic information to China.

    Micromax Did Everything Good.
    but
    Cons Of Canvas Fire 4

    1. No HD Display.
    2. Single Core Mali 400 GPU.
    3. Chipset Is Lower Power Than MT6582 Quad Core 1.3 GHZ.
Mmx Added Same Chip Which Used In Canvas Xpress .
MT6582M chip Scores Only 14000 Antutu.

    Only Speaker Is Good.

This Handset Released For 6999/- but After Release Price Will Drop To 5500/-.

    At 6999/-
    1. Lenovo A6000 With HD LTE Dolby Spekaer.
    2. Huawei Honor Holly With HD Display Bigger 5 inch Screen
    You Get.

Micromax if atleast add HD 720p display and Dual Core GPU then Canvas Fire 4 A107 Will Become A Compitator Of
Lenovo A6000, honor holly, Moto e2 etc handset.

Wolfson Stereo DAC audio converter is used in ipod! They would have paid hefty price to buy the DAC itself!!….thats the reason for high cost…..

Ipod is expensive does not mean all the parts used in it should be expensive :-p
Does it mean that if micromax implements same parts in their phones, they gonna perform better? No way.

Brother, dont forget that its hardware software combo that makes device better, and as we all know that software support from micromax is nill. They will just blindly rebrand without even caring for whats inside.
