Another Micromax handset running KitKat is now listed on Homeshop 18 with a price tag of Rs. 6,999. Design wise it looks different from the Micromax Unite 2 and the Engage A091. The A105 is also powered by a quad core processor.
Micromax A105 is 10.5mm thick and weighs about 180 grams with battery. This dual SIM handset comes with a 5 inch screen with 800 x 480 pixels resolution. It is powered by 1.2GHz quad core processor (chipset unknown).
Android KitKat runs out of the box with 512MB RAM and 4GB internal storage plus micro SD card support of up to 32GB. There is a 0.3MP camera on the front and a 5MP on the rear (probably AF) with flash. Key features are 3G, GPS, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. Battery is 1900 mAh with up to 5 hours talk time.
Looking at the specs and comparing it with the other Micromax handset running KitKat, the A105 closely resembles the Engage. It may be using the Broadcom or the qualcomm chipset. The Micromax A105 is not yet listed on the Micromax’s official website but already listed on Homeshop18 as forthcoming item for Rs. 6,999 (with free flip cover).

Hello gogi sir i want to buy micro SD so which class of micro SD will give good performance …i want to install and shift my heavy games on micro SD card
Minimum class 4 but if you can afford higher class then go with that.
And which company micro SD are durable
Sandisk, Kingston, transcend.
Sir do you reviewing Unite 2 ?…..
If yes then plz check camera interface and also is there any way to check original kitkat or OS version…..
MMX is scared of Moto E.
Makes no sense. Whats the fun of launching this phone with 512 mb ram when u have the likes of micromax unite 2 with 1 gb ram and mtk 6582 quad core processor
Samyak, it will be using a different processor.
@Gogi, so what? Both A91 & this one are complete shit regardless of chipset. At 7K, unite 2 makes perfect sense with 1GB ram & mediatek mt6582. Sd200 is useless because of storage restrictions.
Gogi it definitely looks like UMI X2 everything is same… The camera the led.. The bezels the flash the capacitive touch… What if it’s Infact x2 with a qualcomm?
Gogi sir….karbonn smart a55 released last month please review this budget handset….

Micromax creating tsunami of handsets.
kitkat fever everywhere…n price too 7k
Indian brands should really adopt to on-screen soft keys rather than the capacitive buttons. And the minimum resolution provided should be qHD rather than WVGA.
