Meizu unveiled their new handset the Meizu Blue Charm metal, as the name suggests this handset is using a metal body. But there is more to it, the Blue Charm is running Flyme UI over YunOS and price starts from RMB 1099.

Meizu Blue Charm metal sports a 5.5 inch LTPS screen supporting 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution – with 2.5D glass. This dual SIM handset (SIM 2 is a hybrid slot) is powered by MediaTek Helio X10 64 bit octa core processor clocked at 2GHz. GPU used is PowerVR G6200.

As mentioned the Blue Charm is running YunOS with FlyMe UI version 5.0. YunOS is based on Android Open Source created by AliBaba Group. There is 2GB RAM, optional 16 GB or 32GB storage and a micro SD card slot (Hybrid slot) that can house cards of up to 128GB.

Meizu Blue Charm Metal launched

A 13MP AF camera is packed on the rear with dual tone LED flash and a 5MP fixed focus camera on the front. Key features are 4G, 3G, 2G, GPS, WiFi, finger print scanner and Bluetooth 4.1. The Meizu Blue Charm Metal gets power from a 3140 mAh battery (handset weight is 162grams and thickness is 8.2mm).

Blue Charm Metal price starts from RMB 1099 (approx ₹11,200) for 16GB and RMB 1299 (approx ₹13,300) for 32GB.

As of now the Meizu M2 is available in India and the 2nd batch will go on sale on 23rd October on Snapdeal. Sale will begin at 11:00am. Registrations for the sale will close at 4:00pm today.
