The LG Optimus L3, L5 and L7 were first announced at the Mobile World Congress (MWC). The Optimus L3 and the Optimus L7 handsets are already available in the Indian markets and now the L5 model has been launched.

The LG Optimus L3 is priced at Rs. 7,799 and is the cheapest of the lot. This model comes with bare minimum features like a 3.2 inch touchscreen with a 240×320 pixels resolution. A 3MP camera to compliment with an 800MHz processor. All these running on the Android 2.3 OS. The price may seem a bit high when compared with other brands like Karbonn, Spice and Micromax.

The LG Optimus L5 sails on ICS (Android 4.0) it too comes powered by a mere 800MHz processor with a slightly better display screen of 4 inches with HVGA (320×480 pixels) resolution. This handset houses a 5MP auto focus camera with LED flash. The L5 comes for a price tag of Rs. 13,199. I believe it’s too high.

LG Optimus :L3, L5 and L7 now available in India

The LG Optimus L7 comes for a premium price of Rs. 17,990 for a 1 GHz processor with 4.3 inch WVGA screen (480×800 pixels) and a 5MP auto focus camera along with LED flash. The L7 comes with 4GB internal storage and runs on ICS OS. This handset will compete with the Sony Xperia U and the Sony Xperia Sola. I think instead of the L7 the Sola seem a better choice.
