LG has launched the G Pad 8.0 tablet in India for Rs. 21,000. This is a quad core tablet sporting an 8 inch screen with WXGA resolution and it does come with a micro SIM slot with 3G support. The Pad 8.0 is also available in Wi-Fi only version.

LG G Pad 8.0 is powered by qualcomm snapdragon 1.2GHz quad core processor running Android KitKat out of the box. There is 1GB RAM and 16GB of internal storage. The micro SD card slot in turn can be used to add up to 32GB of external storage.

This tablet comes with an 8 inch capacitive touch screen supporting 1280 x 800 pixels resolution. It is 9.95 mm thick. An auto focus camera of 5MP resolution is packed on the rear with LED flash and a fixed focus camera is present on the front. FHD video recording and playback is supported.

Additional features are 3G (21Mbps), GPS with A-GPS, Wi-Fi (b/g/n) and Bluetooth 4.0. LG G Pad 8.0 gets power from a 4200 mAh battery and is listed on LG’s official website with a price tag of Rs. 21,000.
