Lava Iris Pro Series will be unveiled on 17th Jan 2014

Lava Mobiles will unveil the Iris Pro series on 17th Jan 2014. Info about the Iris Pro first showed up in August 2013 – along with a teaser video, though none of the details were revealed at that time. All of the info on the Iris Pro will be revealed, this week.

Here are some of the details that we know for now – The first smart phone in the Iris Pro series will weigh just 114 grams. Lava also claims that it will be the lightest phone with a 4.7 inch screen. ‘Pro’ as you might have already guessed could fall into the premium category.

The Iris pro handsets will be using Sharp LCD display technology with Corning Gorilla Glass and fully laminated touch panel. CABC (Content Adaptive Back light Control) app will automatically control the back-light brightness based on the content you are viewing.
