Lava Mobiles has silently listed the Iris Alfa L a 1.3GHz quad core powered smartphone for Rs. 8,000. As the name suggests the handset is running Android Lollipop 5.0 out of the box. It is another MediaTek quad core powered smartphone.
There is already a Lava Iris Alfa smartphone available that was launched in January 2015. The Iris Alfa L sports a 5.5 inch IPS screen supporting 960 x 640 pixels resolution with 16.7M colours. As mentioned this dual SIM handset with dual standby mode is powered by 1.3GHz MediaTek quad core processor with Mali 400 GPU.
Handset weight is 165 grams and it is about 9.3mm thick. There is 1GB RAM, 8GB storage and 32GB external card support. The Alfa L also comes loaded with 2MP camera packed on the front and an 8MP auto focus camera with LED flash packed on the rear. Rear camera can shoot full HD videos.
When it comes to the battery the Alfa L gets power from a 3000 mAh Li-po battery that as per the company gives about 13 hours of talk time on a single charge.
Lava Iris Alfa L is priced at Rs. 8,000.

I just bought this phone and Lava Iris Alfa L is amazing and even the pricing is good. Tell me one other phone which provides these kinda specs in such an affordable price. Seriously guys, mark my words, Lava phones pack some serious punch and Alfa L is the epitome of perfection in smartphones.

This launch is mainly for offline sales. In the offline market you wont get Lenevo a6000 /xiaomi /asus/yureka.
