Karbonn Retina A27 with Jelly Bean OS silently gets listed on the Saholic website for Rs. 9,090. This dual core handset comes with a 4.3 inch screen with 960×540 pixels resolution. Retina A27 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon processor @ 1.2GHz (dual core).

The price is good and does compete with other Mediatek dual core processors. This handset comes with 512MB RAM and 4GB internal storage of which 2.97GB is available. The LCD IPS screen is 4.3 inches with qHD resolution. There are 4 dedicated touch buttons on the front side.

The Karbonn Retina A27 also comes with 8 megapixel rear camera with LED flash and another camera on the front with 2 megapixel resolution. It can record videos but I am not sure if this handset can really record and play 720p video, if it is unable to do so then it will fail against the MediaTek dual core processors that does support 720p format.

The Retina A27 sails on the Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) OS. Other feature included are 3G (7.2Mbps HSDPA), 2G, Wi-Fi with hotspot, Bluetooth with A2DP, GPS, micro USB and 3.5 mm audio jack. A1800 mAh battery powers this handset with talktime of up to 4 hours and standby time of around a week.
