Karbonn Mobiles has launched the K103 and the K109 low cost dual SIM handsets with features that Indian consumers will like. There are so many dual SIM handsets in the market that at times it gets really difficult to choose the best one. The new models have similar features but it is the design that separates it from the rest.
Karbonn K103 features
K103 is a dual SIM phone (11.28mm thin) which you can use with 2 SIM (GSM SIM cards). A very basic phone with a VGA camera, a torch light and one touch music key to keep you entertained. This phone sports a 1.77 inch display screen with minimal screen resolution of 120 by 176 pixels.
There is not enough memory on this phone and the phonebook is limited to 250 entries and about 25 SMS’s but you can store more on the SIM cards. MicroSD is support up to 4 GB. Now on the external card you can store MP3, 3GP and MP4 files and play it via the media player.
The multi format media player and a 4 GB card will be more than sufficient for music lovers. In fact there is a built in FM for live music. This handset comes with 1000 mAh Li-ion battery which is more than sufficient for this handset but the talktime is just 3 hours and you get a standby time of about 8 days.

Karbonn K109 features
The K109 is also a dual SIM phone with a weight of 75 grams and is 14.5 mm thin. The display screen is 1.81 inches with resolution of 160 by 128 pixels. The handset has got a simple look with curvy edges.
This handset is also low on memory with just 32 MB which means you will have limited space for storing your SMS’ and Phone contacts on the phone. The best option would be to keep the contacts on the SIM itself.
The handset supports vibration mode, Bluetooth and also comes with a VGA camera. For entertainment there is the media player which can play various files and you can also enjoy live radio using the FM receiver. If this is not enough you can play some games that comes pre-loaded.
Other features are hot keys for music player, diamond shaped keys, big torch light, English/Hindi language option and microSD up to 8 GB supports. Again this a very simple phone with a 1000 mAh battery that gives a talktime of about 7 hours and up to 8 days of standby.
