  1. The latest Asus Eeebook seems a better bet. Better brand reliability and there won’t be any restrictions about how large a usb drive you can plug in to the usb port etc.

But I don’t understand why they don’t themselves offer a 128 gb SSD drive(one selling on Amazon costs only about 3 k) with Windows loaded on it with a second internal slot provided for mounting a further drive for storage purposes which could be HDD or SSD depending on your needs. This separate drive could be powered on by a separate hardware button and won’t even be switched on by default when you turn on Windows, only when you need it and afterwards you can unmount and switch it off. No need for it to waste battery life. Also provide at least 4 gb of RAM

Nobody wants to run Windows off just a 32 gb ROM. People want to install heavy programs like Visual Basic, Photoshop etc on it. And they make it very difficult to shift the installation to the SSD. These people have no consumer awareness.

For 18 k, the same device but with 4 gb RAM and a 128 gb SSD with a further slot for a storage drive with its own power button would be a killer option.

  2. Will it support my toshiba 320gb internal hard disk in it as I was planning to buy new laptop.
