Two new smartphones from Huawei – the Huawei Y5 II and Huawei Y3 II got listed on their official global website. Y5 II as well as Y3 II is MediaTek Quad Core powered available in two variants – with 4G and with 3G. The price details have not yet been revealed.

Huawei Y3 II features and specifications

Y3 II is a dual SIM handset running EMUI 3.1 Lite over Android 5.1 with 1GB RAM, 8GB ROM and micro SD card support. This handset sports a 4.5 inch IPS screen supporting 854 x 480 pixels (FWVGA) resolution.

There are two variants – users can go for 4G variant that is using MediaTek 1.3GHz MT6735P 64 bit quad core chipset with Mali 720 GPU or they can go for the 3G variant that houses the MediaTek 1.3GHz MT6582 quad core chipset with Mali 400 GPU.

A 5MP camera is packed on the back with flash and front camera is of 2MP resolution. Key features are 4G/3G, 2G, WiFi, GPS and BT 4.0. Y3 II gets power from a 2100 mAh battery.

This dual SIM handset is also using the same chipset as seen on the Y3 II, i.e. MT6735P with 4G support and MT6582 with 3G support. Y5 II sports a 5 inch IPS screen with HD (720p) resolution. Android 5.1 runs the show with 1GB RAM, 8GB ROM and micro SD support.

There is an 8MP camera placed on the back with flash and on the front there is a 2MP fixed focus camera. Key features are 4G / 3G, 2G, WiFi, GPS and BT. Y5 II gets power from a 2200 mAh battery.
