Huawei today launched the Honor 7 an octa core powered smartphone running Android lollipop over a 5.2 inch FHD screen, in India. This handset comes with 3GB RAM, finger print scanner and a 20MP auto focus camera on the rear. Huawei Honor 7 is priced at ₹22,999.

The Huawei Honor 7 is using the HiSilicon Kirin 935 64 bit octa core chipset clocked at 2.2GHz and coupled with Mali T628 GPU. Emotion UI 3.1 based on Android Lollipop 5.0 runs out of the box. This handset will get Android Marshmallow 6 update.

There is 3GB RAM, 16GB storage and a micro SD card slot to add up to 128GB external cards. Honor 7 sports a 5.2 inch multi touch in-cell screen supporting 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution. When it comes to camera there is a good 20MP on the rear using Sony IMX230 sensor with dual tone LED flash support. Front camera is of 8MP resolution. Both front and rear camera comes with f/2.0 aperture.

Other features are 4G, 3G, 2G, GPS, WiFi, finger print scanner, SOS feature (first device to come with embedded SOS panic button) and Bluetooth 4.1. SOS can be activated by pressing the power button as well as other combination of buttons and shaking the phone.

The Huawei Honor 7 gets power from a 3100 mAh battery with reverse charging capabilities. The handset will be available in two colour options for ₹22,999 on Flipkart from 15th October 2015.
